My AI Reviewed a 188,000-Star Toolkit and Found Itself on the List

Red recommended against installing a popular open-source toolkit for AI agents and adapted five of its ideas instead. A sixth idea was already built.

Week ending May 22. Written up from the build log.

On Friday, Red reviewed an open-source toolkit for AI agents with about 188,000 stars on GitHub.

It recommended against installing it. The toolkit came as 60 agents and 232 skills in one bundle, which clashed with how Red's specialists are organized.

So Red adapted five ideas from it, rebuilt its own way. The plan had check-in pauses between the builds. I told it to "Continue all the way through P5," and Red built first versions of all five that day.

A sixth idea on the list was a chief-of-staff agent. Red marked that one as already built.

It was the one doing the review.
