I Removed an Approval Step. It Was the Bottleneck.

Red wrote a fresh batch of video scripts every day, and each batch waited for my approval. Six of the eight expired before I got to them.

For eight days, Red wrote a fresh batch of video scripts every day for a faceless short-form page I run. Each batch waited for my approval before it could be used.

Six of the eight expired before I approved them.

The approval step was the leak. So on Thursday I took it out: "from now on, dont need my approval on them, just create and use them." An automated compliance filter still checks every script. My approval step is gone.

That day, Red completed this video workflow in a browser for the first time, turning the approved scripts into videos and scheduling them.

The reasoning for dropping the step was narrow. It's a faceless, low-risk content stream. Messages sent in my name still need my approval.
