A Viral AI Video Demo Was Just a Script

A post claimed an AI tool turned 365 photos into an eight-minute video. We built a repeatable version for my team, then kept its self-serve side switched off.

A post going around claimed an AI tool had turned 365 photos into an eight-minute video. I asked Red whether that was real.

The claim was real, but there was no special feature behind it. It was ordinary video-editing scripting.

So I asked for a real tool, not a one-off: "make a real skill, repeatable, plan for CGP." Red built one. It removes duplicate photos, drops the weak ones, adds our brand cards and name-only captions, and generates its own music track to avoid licensing ambiguity. The first run produced our team intro video.

Then it built the next layer, so my team could submit photos and request a finished video. I told it: "build all, leave it OFF." It's set up so every video goes to review first, and nothing publishes automatically.

Turning that layer on is still on my list.
