Prospecting Scripts for Introverted Agents
By Khai Tran | Category: Coaching | 6 min read
Traditional prospecting scripts feel wrong for introverts. They are pushy, salesy, and inauthentic. These scripts are different. They focus on genuine curiosity and helpful conversation.
The Problem with Traditional Scripts
Most scripts assume you want to dominate the conversation. For introverts, this creates anxiety and feels inauthentic. The result? You avoid prospecting entirely, or you force yourself through scripts that damage your confidence.
The Introvert Approach
Instead of pushing for appointments, focus on starting conversations. Ask questions. Listen more than you talk. Offer value without expecting anything in return.
Script 1: The Warm Check-In
"Hey [Name], I was thinking about you. How are things going with [specific detail you know about them]? I would love to catch up when you have time."
Script 2: The Value Offer
"I just put together some information on [relevant market topic]. Would it be helpful if I sent it your way? No pressure, just thought you might find it interesting."
Script 3: The Curious Question
"I have been curious about something. With everything changing in [their industry/neighborhood], how are you thinking about your housing situation over the next few years?"
Script 4: The Referral Ask
"I really enjoyed working with you. If you ever come across someone thinking about buying or selling, I would be grateful if you kept me in mind. No pressure at all, just wanted to mention it."
Why These Work
These scripts work because they are low-pressure and genuine. They start conversations rather than pushing for commitments. They let you be yourself while still moving your business forward.
